no matter how much i LOVE writing emails all day long, there's still something so special about writing the good ole fashioned way. having walked the national stationery trade show a few months back, i walked away more inspired to dive back into my list of "thank you" notes and "hellos" that i need to send out. my favorite greeting card that had me tickeled with whimsy were these adorable cards by red cap cards. started in 2004 by illustrator carrie gifford and partner hal mertz, each piece features original artwork by carrie and artist francesca montanari. i personally want to buy one of every illustration and frame them as small works of art!
